Readers, Greeters, and Communion Servers
At each worship service, volunteers stand at the entrance to the sanctuary and greet the
worshippers as they enter. This helps members get better acquainted with one another and allows us to identify visitors and help them feel welcome in our community. Volunteers read the
lessons from the lectern. Lay assistants have the opportunity to help serve Holy Communion when it's observed in the services as well as by taking the elements to shut-ins.
