Property Committee
The property Committee strives to provide a safe, clean and comfortable environment at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for a growing community of members, visitors, and guests to worship, learn, serve and partake in fellowship activities. To fullfill this mission we:
Monitor, maintain, and improve safety related systems, environmental control systems, flooring, roofing, plumbing, lighting, cooking, cleaning, and refridgeration systems; participate in expansion and remodeling programs; maintain and improve the surrounding grounds and parking areas; plan, organize, execute and participate in periodic congregational work days to aid in all of the before mentioned areas; control costs associated with all of these property related activities.
In order to accomplish all of this we rely on the volunteer efforts of the congregation at large.
Stewardship Committee
At Good Shepherd we believe Stewardship manifests itself in a number of ways in our response to the blessings God has provided us as a congregation and as individuals. It is manifested through giving of financial resources to support the ongoing operating, program and capital needs of the congregation and through the many various outreach activities encouraged and supported by the congregation. Equally, Stewardship is expressed through and in combination with the use of the many skills and talents of our members.
Worship and Music Committee
The Worship and Music committee at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is responsible for ensuring that the worship and music portions of the Good Shepherd Lutheran mission statement is implemented effectively. We accomplish this task by reviewing and modifying the various elements of our worship activities to provide a worship experience which both glorifies God and provides our members with a meaningful spiritual service.
