There are two handbell choirs at Good Shepherd, both directed by Pastoral Assistant Nancy Guthrie.
Chancel Bells
The CHANCEL BELLS team ministers through a monthly musical offering at the 11:00 Sunday worship service. They rehearse each Monday, September through May at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
Genesis Bells
A small group ministry called GENESIS BELLS was born in October 2008. The Genesis Bells group is for GSLC disciples who want to have fun learning while ministering through handbell music. No prior music reading experience is necessary. If you are between the ages of 9 and 100 and enjoy music, Genesis Bells may be for you! Did you notice the Prayer Request Box in the gathering space? This box is for notes about your prayer requests, surgeries, procedures or other concerns you would like Pastor Gore to be aware of. Note paper and pen are provided beside the box for your convenience.
Charts for Altar Flowers and Bulletins are on the bulletin board across from the church office. Envelopes are available near the charts for you to use. They may be placed in the church offering. Altar Flowers will cost $35.00 per week.
Donations for bulletins are $20.00 for each Sunday.
Memorial Candles may be sponsored by the month and are $5.00 per Sunday.
